The hype machine has been working hard over the past few weeks when it comes to the upcoming Find X3 series. We expect there to be three devices in the lineup, including a Find X3 Lite and a Find X3 Neo.
However, all eyes are on the big daddy in the group: the Oppo Find X3 Pro. Today, the company formally announced the launch date for the series in the invitation you see above. The launch will happen on March 11, 2021, at 11:30 AM GMT (or 6:30 AM ET that same day).
You’ll notice the tagline for this launch is “Awaken Colour.” That has to do with a cool feature of the Find X3 Pro. Also, Oppo confirmed another important spec related to the device.
Oppo Find X3 Pro: Confirmed specs and features
In the invite Android Authority received, Oppo confirmed two features coming to the Find X3 Pro. The first is Oppo’s “Full-path Colour Management,” a feature it first disclosed late last year. This will, theoretically, allow the display to be incredibly accurate when it comes to colors. Of course, we’ll need to test this for ourselves.
Oppo also confirmed what we long expected: the Oppo Find X3 Pro will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Considering this is one of the most important phones for the company, the inclusion of that processor was pretty much a given. Still, it’s nice to know it’s confirmed.
To find out more about the phone, you’ll need to watch the launch, which will live stream on YouTube. If you want to know all the latest rumors related to the Find X3 series, check out our hub here.
