- A new leak has outed the alleged pre-order and market launch dates of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
- The phone might only launch in October, around the same time as Google’s Pixel 6 series.
By now, the launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has pretty much become a guessing game. Leaks first predicted that the phone would launch in August. There was also talk of the device getting canceled. Most recently, a leaker suggested that the newest Fan Edition could launch on September 8, quickly followed by another report from South Korea suggesting that the phone could face further delays. Now, we have two new possible market release dates to share with you, courtesy of tipster Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech.
Prosser’s sources tell him that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will actually launch sometime in October. He doesn’t have the exact reveal date, but according to the information he received, the phone should go on pre-order starting October 20. The market launch of the Galaxy S21 FE should follow a week later, on October 28.
Just yesterday, Prosser also leaked the purported market release timeline for the Google Pixel 6 series. If that and this latest Galaxy S21 FE launch information is accurate, both Google and Samsung’s devices will go on sale just one day apart from each other.

Mind you, this is still all conjecture and it’s only a way to keep you apprised of when you can expect Samsung’s highly-anticipated affordable flagship. The global chip shortage may have a hand to play in the launch delays the phone is facing. We’ll let you know when we hear some concrete information from more reliable sources or the company itself.
Meanwhile, Prosser also reiterates that the Galaxy S21 FE will launch in Graphite, White, Olive Green, and Lavender colorways. Storage options should include 128GB and 256GB variants. These might not be expandable as a leaked user manual recently suggested the phone won’t have a MicroSD slot.
